FUN!

Now this is really fun!  So, let's play.  Let's create great tragedy and the gnashing of teeth.  It is within our power!

THE GREAT TRAGEDIES, BUILDING UP TO THE REALLY BIG ONE!

The non-complying garage door opener tragedy - "Well, crap, why doesn't my garage door opener work on my significant other's garage door!? Damn it!  It should work!  The dummies should design it better!  Life is so tough and then I have to suffer from it!"

Geez
The computer that couldn't fly

The person without superpowers

The big threat - the scowl in life

Anything but death!

Life not perfect, some costs - omigod, how terrible. (Avoid Accepting Reality!)

80% great, 20% crap  or 60% OK, 40% crap - not a bad deal.  I'll take it!

RACKETS - CREATING YOUR OWN

In the spirit of con games or the mafia, create your own rackets.  These are what you pull on yourself, fooling yourself that you are getting what you want, when you're only getting a low rated version of some fictional thing that means buppka to you.

A good version of this is to keep on complaining about something but not doing anything about it.  So it stays in existence as a problem, but you get more satisfaction out of being a victim than out of solving the problem.  You're also conning yourself into thinking anyone out there cares or will rescue you.

NOT ACCEPTING REALITY IS A VARIATION ON THE FUN OF PLAYING VICTIM - YEAH!

Accepting reality and just doing what's next is called being responsible.  But there is no opportunity to complain, be rescued, get pity and sympathy as a form of feeling loved, get attention as a form of feeling loved or to prove that you are helpless and someone must do something to make it all better.
You get to be a child, a victim

Now that is really fun!

Egad!  Orange irridescence!  How terrible!
See Accepting Reality, which is under Life Management, Power In Life - I wonder why??!
