Like a teenager first contemplating sex, the standards and rules must be set first and be made clear or the temptation and feelings of the moment will rule.

Without keeping these on "top of the mind", they fall by the wayside.  Keep a copy in your Reminders Notebook and post at least an abbreviated copy on your bathroom mirror.   

TIME/LIFE MANAGEMENT - The stuff of life!  

I LIVE NO DAY WITHOUT A PLAN FIRST - I DECIDE WHAT MY DAY IS TO BE.  I don't let it be used up at random.

I DECIDE WHILE IN MY HIGHEST STATE OF RESOURCEFULNESS.  And I set the necessary reminders up so that I carry through when in a diminished, tired, or any state where I seek relief.

I AM ORGANIZED AT LEAST ONCE A DAY - Clear, clean space, ready to work in, where things can be found.

I list to do items in the order they are to be done and then do them in that order, inserting nothing else unless it is necessary - regardless of whether I feel like it
or not.

If it can be done in a reasonably short time, I do it right then.

I complete what I am doing, not to come back to do it again or to browse again for
what to buy or do.

I list what I will do and in what order and I do that,

I can only do one thing at a time, and I do that.  I give myself "time spaceousness."


PHYSICAL HEALTH

I EAT THE BARE MINIMUM AMOUNT OF FOOD TO SUSTAIN ME.

I ONLY EAT HEALTHY FOODS.  There is no value in temporary sweets or uppers, so my rule is just not to eat them at all (eat no "white" foods).   I eat for the long term and savor what I eat.

I KEEP MYSELF IN A HIGH STATE OF RESOURCEFULNESS.  Exercise, eat a good meal, and/or rest as needed, being sure to notice and let go of any hurry or tension.


PSYCHOLOGICAL HEALTH
– since that is what provides the freedom and focus to not live in limitation.

I TAKE FULL RESPONSIBILITY FOR MY LIFE.  I EXPEDITIOUSLY HANDLE WHAT NEEDS TO BE HANDLED, WITHOUT RESISTANCE OR COMPLAINT.   This has me fully realizing that I am in control, with confidence, and need not be concerned about anything, as I am completing as much as can be done.

PLAY NO ADDICTIVE TIME-CONSUMING GAMES.  Instead, do relaxation or a suitable action for what is going on; I won't tolerate wasting my life here where I can put so much more into life.

I SCHEDULE AND KEEP AN APPOINTMENT WITH MYSELF FOR COMPLETE REVIEW AND FOLLOWUP EVERY SIX MONTHS
