"Imagine feeling inspired every day.  What a great life it would be.

And now I recommend you actually live it!"

After studying the brain and the human psyche (and the research proving certain propositions), I find that inspiration not only creates great short term chemicals but it also can have people thinking higher on a permanent basis if it is practiced frequently enough - I would suggest it as part of a daily practice (perhaps split from your other practices, perhaps as a way to close out the evening and go to sleep inspired and positive).  Inspiration is a worthwhile "diversion" that is highly entertaining for humans - and we recommend this when you need a break.

Just peruse and see what appeals to youInspiration Contents/Links

Inspiration on this website includes anything that is inspiring.  It seems that a good sized portion of the pieces in this area come from sources that are religious in nature, but those who are not religious can just make them into non-religious analogies/metaphors/wisdom (such as "higher internal power" inside oneself, "nature", etc.).

I would highly recommend that you print out what is meaningful to you (and save it on your computer) and insert it into your Reminders Notebook or, perhaps, into a separate Inspiration notebook (as I have accumulated so much it no longer fits into the other notebook).

I would highly recommend that you, at least for a year, use daily inspiration to assure you feel inspired (or at least in the flow of positiveness).  Use these in your morning grounding sessions AND in the evening, instead of TV, in the form of reading or inspiring videos on YouTube (See

Part of being inspired comes from a regular reminders system, thus we would recommend that you have several personal inspirational pieces in the Grounding/Reminders Notebook, such as the example of one used by one individual:  My Daily Reading.

CREATING HIGHER THINKING - PUTTING THE PIECES TOGETHER

There is a cumulative and mutually reinforcing effect of grouping and using all of these:

    Reminders of how to live
    Gratitude
    Reminders of sound thinking
    Inspirational materials

It's a worthwhile "side trip" that has long term effects.

Also it is highly helpful to set up and use a Reminders Notebook, for periodic reminders and also for daily "filling up" and grounding for the day.
