NOT FOR PROFIT, NET GOES TO HELP CHARITIES AND INDIVIDUALS

This is a not-for-profit website, currently run through an existing corporation until a formal non-profit charter is economically feasible. The intent is to limit any salaries, if any, of principals to a fairly low amount and to have all net "profits" go to cancer research/treatment/care programs (at least 20%), to support individuals in their personal growth in effectiveness and happiness capabilities, and to support the development of the site so it can be of even more help.

INDIVIDUALS BENEFITED ARE ASKED TO "PAY IT FORWARD"

Though individuals supported by scholarships and other moneys provided for personal growth may not currently have the capability to contribute moneys to others, these individuals are anticipated to develop the means to be able to make contributions in the future for the benefit of others. Anybody using this site is also requested to contribute moneys to the site so that others can be benefited.

In essence, someone is providing a benefit for you now and you would pay for it, in a sense, by forwarding benefits to others in the future - i.e. paying it forward to other people, who will then be expected to pay it forward to others. Of course, this is strictly voluntary. We do suggest, however, that one would pay it forward to at least 3 individuals (so this can grow potentially into world changing proportions at the fantasy level but at least it will be of benefit to a multiplying number of people). Such payment may come in various forms. For instance, besides paying it into this conduit, one could pay for another's tuition to some personal growth program (see some of the recommendations in this and related sites).

INDIVIDUALS BENEFITED WILL IN TURN EFFECT OTHERS

Whenever an individual becomes more effective in life, that individual benefits others directly and indirectly by the influence of their example. Also, individuals who have experienced a dramatic increase in their effectiveness and happiness will direct others toward these resources.

The effects of enhancing the ability of one individual multiply into affecting many others - to achieve the greatest benefit any man or woman could ask for: the ability to effectively manage life and one's personal psyche such that enduring happiness, love, and fulfillment are achieved.

WITH YOUR CONTRIBUTIONS YOU CAN CREATE GREAT EFFECTS ON THIS WORLD

This website and corollary services will provide cost free access to the means for self development and growth in effectiveness and the ability to be happy and fulfilled. In turn, individuals who have benefited from such ability enhancement will be more effective in the world and will influence others toward being more effective and happy. It is a "multiplying benefit", available to this world at the magnitude level we create it at.

"Net profits" for the purposes of this discussion are defined as follows, since there will be no net profits in terms of moneys going to any principals or owners. Net profits are the net income minus the costs before the scholarships or other moneys provided to support individuals in growth programs. In other words, it is the net before all charitable contributions. Charitable contributions, for purposes of this discussion, include those related to cancer, any other charities, and those moneys given to individuals to support personal growth activities. The latter, of course, is not a "formal" charity, but it is for the public good.

POLICY WITH REGARD TO COMPENSATION FOR SERVICES

In trying to figure out how to do this so it serves your interests best, plus supporting the website where possible, but for not taking any profit from it, we decided the following:

All of the materials on the website would be available at no costs.

Where we recommend books that you must purchase somewhere, we decided to use Amazon and to receive a referral commission, which has absolutely no effect on your costs. (Referral fees are available for other booksellers, too, so we are not recommending Amazon for the commissions.)

There are some services that we would recommend anyway which also offer referral payments. So the question was whether to just refer or also get the referral payments. Since it would contribute to the cause and since we are not taking any profit from this enterprise, we thought it prudent to take those where available. We are providing conduits to some services and sites you would use anyway but ones which are not related to "Life Management" per se. We are providing the links for you to use so that you can buy what you would normally buy from that site, but where you could also contribute to this cause - at no cost to you. Once you click on a link to it, put it in your favorites so you can continue to link in a way that contributes to the cause.
