DRAINS ME - THAT I WANT TO STOP DOING

Any self criticism
Thinking of loss, being in fear
Excess junk food - I feel bad afterwards and it has no good effect.
Computer games - Yes, dopamines me, but it is mind numbing and takes away from my life.


SELF NURTURING, SELF-SOOTHING

Breathing deeply and slowly, smiling, and
    appreciating myself and life
Building into each day something that is
   important to me
Reassuring myself, telling myself that all is ok,
   that I am ok
Being compassionate and understanding with
   myself..
Gratitude for all my abilities, my humanness
Appreciation of  myself

Soaking in the tub
Sitting in the sun
Enjoying nature
Occasional pampering of myself
Rejuvenation days
