THESE ARE FOR ANYONE WHO IS NOT YET AT HIGH ENERGY LEVELS DURING MOST OF THE DAY!
NEVER WASTE A MOMENT BY BEING IN A LOW ENERGY STATE!
LIFE IS TOO PRECIOUS!
SECTION CONTENTS:
DISCUSSION OF KEY POINTS
We have virtually unlimited energy capability, but tapping into that is the "art of the deal". We blow it through inappropriately handling life's stresses (see Emotional Management section), not managing our body, and using inappropriate short term "fixes" (often called addictions, whether to coffee, sugar, or anything that is "needed" that is inappropriate for health).
The point of life is to enjoy it and feel good, in a deeper and longer sense called enduring unconditional happiness. But if we are in a low state of resourcefulness from anything, including the mental/emotional, we do not feel as good as we could and we do not operate as well as we could - there is no point in staying in that condition for very long.
So, definitely read and practice the simple ways of increasing your energy right away (without the nasty aftereffects of many "solutions"). You'll love the results and how you feel! (I love the one that supercharges me so quickly, especially after never finding one that worked.)
And, of course, increasing your long term energy capabilities is tremendously important. Those are all listed in the article under the Energy For The Long Term section, below.
Following this will, I promise, make a huge, huge difference in your life!
ENERGY IN THE MOMENT:
Quickest And Simplest: Drink a whole bunch of water, fast breathing, a whole wheat banana sandwich,
Clif bars, jumping up and down.
The Key Ones
Use this checklist and adopt these practices:
stimulants or, alternatively, shut down - do this instead - it will change your life
significantly. One of these was an incredible energizer for me, taking me from really tired
to great energy and feellng really good.
ENERGY FOR THE LONG TERM - For everyone!
current exhaustion or tiredness? See also Instant Energy piece.
regulatory function, such as blood sugar, are devastating physically and psychologically.
Rejuvenation - Add this practice to your life to experience much more peace, creativity,
satisfaction, and balance to your life. Ironically, in a sense, this is under the psychology
section, but physical health and psychology are directly connected so that makes
sense.
BREATHING PRACTICES FOR ENERGY - INCLUDING ONE INCREDIBLE ONE FOR QUICK HIGH ENERGY (These have several different names in different disciplines, but these are the primary equivalents, essentially,)
Best for highest energy: Fast Deep Breathing, below.
DEEP BREATHING = Stress lower, energy higher, other organs helped through movement of the diaphragn.
Body Posturing:
Spine erect, sit or stand.
Shoulders relaxed and not raised during entire sequence.
Tongue on roof of mouth, right behind teeth, keep it there the whole time.
Place hands on your lower stomach to assure that it is moving, instead of chest.
Breathing
1. Inhale slowly through your nose, having air go into lower lungs (lower stomach should rise).
Retain for one count.
2. Exhale slowly through your mouth completely feeling your abdomen pulling in, contacting as you do.
Hold for one count.
Do not force your breathing. Stop and breathe normally if you feel dizzy.
Variations:
Breaths (in and out) are for the count of six.
Holds are for the count of 3.
Comments: The normal breath rate is 15 to 18 breaths per minute but in deep brething this rate is reduced to about 4 to 8 breaths per minute. people normally breath in aout 600 c.c., but the lung capacity is 6000, which we want to get closer to in this type of breathing.
FAST BREATHING - Benefits as above, plus much greater energy increase, also gets rid of mucus. (Cautions: Do not do if have high blood pressure, heart problems, ulcers, a hernia, pregnancy, or recent surgeries or any questionable condition. Consult your doctor if you have anything other than good health.)
Rate increased to 30 to 100 breaths per minute, starting low and gradually, over about 25 days, increasing to 100.. Breathing with forceful inhalation and exhalation so breathing is not shallow. The diaphragm moves very quickly.
Special caution: If you get dizzy, stop.
Comment: Of all the methods of increasing energy when tired or exhausted, I found this the most effective.
