TESTS/SELF-RATINGS

(B) = GOOD BASELINE TESTS to measure against later, after you do the process, so that you can see how far you've come (and/or how far you still need to go).   About halfway through the "process" you will ordinarily arrive at feeling quite good about life and yourself.

Although you may be anxious to proceed quickly, it will be quite meaningful in the longer run to take these tests first (you will learn something while doing them!) and then to be able to see your progress.  Your Happiness level should increase significantly.
